Peter Durkin spent 15 years training and working with Scottish Gas, the kind of grounding that teaches you how heating systems actually behave in real homes, not just how they look in a manual. In 2021 he established Pioneer Gas Services to do the same work to a higher standard, with the accountability that comes from being local.
We work for homeowners with a boiler that has finally given up, families who want a replacement fitted around school runs rather than around our diary, and landlords and letting agents who need CP12 certificates to actually turn up on schedule. Several landlords moved entire rental portfolios to us after being let down elsewhere.
We focus purely on gas heating and hot water: boiler installation, repair and servicing, landlord gas safety certificates, powerflushing, hot water cylinders (G3 qualified for unvented), smart controls and radiator work. That specialism is why faults get diagnosed faster and why installations finish cleanly and on time.
The team is two, supported by a trusted network of electricians, joiners and plumbers called in when a job needs them. The person who quoted your job is the person who stands behind it. We cover Cumbernauld, Glasgow, Falkirk, Kirkintilloch, Lenzie, Bishopbriggs, Denny, Bonnybridge and the wider Central Scotland belt.

Diagnosis before pricing
Repairs are charged on attendance with no separate call-out fee stacked on top. You are told what has failed, in plain English, before anything is ordered or replaced.
Fixed, published pricing where we can
Annual boiler servicing is a fixed £70 + VAT. Installation quotes are free, written and turned around the same day, so you can compare like for like.
Manufacturer-backed warranties
As a Baxi approved installer we can offer warranties from 2 up to 12 years, matched to how long you actually plan to stay in the property.
